Sam is a short coming-of-age film about a boy, Sam, that struggles to make friends. His imaginary friends, Cass and Trevor, represent his two desires to branch out to meet new people and to stay within his comfort zone. The audience grows up with Sam, Cass, and Trevor as they see his journey toward finding a new friend.
